Bureau VERITAS is a world private company that is entrusted by the Ministry of Tourism in accordance with decree number 239 with the tasks of classifying tourism institutions, and training the Ministry’s employees who are in charge of control and inspection missions under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Tourism. The tasks also involve marketing and promotion activities for the interest of Lebanon, as determined by the Ministry of Tourism.
The task of the company extends to a 5-year period beginning from the signature of the contract in 28th of July 2010. The company does not receive any payment in return from the Ministry of Tourism.
